Elmo fondant cake for a sweet 2 year old

This past week/end I was pretty busy. I was baking and creating!  My lovely youngest daughter turned 2! How bitter sweet.  I will post the recipes for the actual cakes later this week.  Today I am going to show you what I created for my Elmo loving girl.

Voila Elmo!

The top cake is a buttermilk vanilla cake.. Bottom is a buttermilk chocolate cake.  4 cakes in all.. Dense cakes!!!  Must have weighed a good 30lbs!

The cake was well enjoyed by her :) Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl!!! <3
